All of this research strongly supports the fact that mindfulness, meditation and other contemplative sciences can significantly reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and other nervous disorders.

I am able to offer a six week course in which we will cover the concept of mindfulness, and how you feel it could benefit you on a personal level.
I will provide you with the tools and techniques you need to take into daily life to help focus the mind and encourage you to live in the now, expelling fearful thoughts on the future and letting go of any hurt from the past.
Mindfulness has had such a positive effect on my mental health and well being, I am keen to introduce others to this practise and change the way you think one session at a time.
After a busy day I was feeling overwhelmed, and needed to take a time out for myself. As a mum of three it's not always easy to find a quiet spot in my home but I was able to steal ten minuets for myself to practise the "power of now "exercise that Terri had taught me in our last mindfulness session. I found it hugely beneficial to bring myself back to the present, I felt ready to continue with my evening feeling calmer and content.
I always look forward to my sessions with Terri, she has a very warm welcoming, presence, I am half way through a six week course and I can already feel the benefits of practising mindfulness on a daily basis. The techniques Terri has introduced me to are easy to introduce into daily life. I particularly enjoy the waking meditation as this can be done anytime anywhere and proves a useful tool to have when life gets a little hectic.

A course of six one hour session, with a small group, we will cover the basics of mindfulness and meditation. To include weekly homework in the form of mindfulness exercises to encourage you to live in the present moment and "The little book of mindfulness" for you to keep with you and refer too.
One off sessions lasting one hour in length. Covering a range of techniques, including guided meditation, waking meditation and breathing exercises to help find that pause in your day to bring you out of autopilot and back to yourself.
This basic course introduces you to the concept of mindfulness and provides a great platform for starting your own practise at home, all sessions are sent to you via email, with a break down of each exercise and weekly homework. I am always available to answer any questions regarding your sessions, and guide you through this helpful course.
